Hoosier Women Advance To NCAA Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University women's cross country team has earned a spot at the NCAA Championships that will take place on Saturday, November 18 in Louisville, Ky. The Hoosiers are one of thirteen teams that were selected with an at-large bid.
The women's team is coming off finishing fifth overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships and finished seventh at the Big Ten Championships. Redshirt junior Katherine Receveur earned her individual spot to NCAA Championships when she crossed the finish line first this past Friday with the time of 20:34.9.
Sophomore Ben Veatch will also run next weekend at NCAA Championships after his fourth place finish at LaVern Gibson Championships Cross Country Course on Friday. He finished with the time of 31:01.3, which earned him a spot in the 10K race this weekend.
NCAA Championships will take place on Saturday, November 18 in Louisville, Ky. for the NCAA Championships. The women's 6K race will begin at 10:45 a.m. EST and the men's 10K race will begin at 11:45 a.m. EST.
