Thomas Accepts Senior Bowl Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana senior tight end Ian Thomas has accepted an invitation to play in the 2018 Reese's Senior Bowl. Thomas is the third Hoosier in as many years to participate in the bowl, joining current Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Jason Spriggs and Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Dan Feeney.
The game will take place on Jan. 27, 2018, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. It will be televised on the NFL Network at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Thomas is second on the team with five touchdowns in addition to 25 catches (4th), 376 yards (3rd) and a 15.0 average per reception.
In his nine games (all starts), he is third in the Big Ten among tight ends in TDs (5, T-10th nationally), yardage (41.8, 19th) and catches (2.7, 31st).
The Baltimore native's five scores rank second and his 376 yards are seventh on Indiana's single-season tight ends lists.
