IU Wraps Up Fall Slate With 16th Place Finish at Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic

LAHAINA, Hawaii – The trade winds were up once again on Sunday, and that lead to higher scores in the final round of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic. Indiana recorded a team score of 303 in the final round to finish with a total score of 877 (+25) in 16th place.

Brock Ochsenreiter was able to avoid the big number on Sunday on his way to a final round score of 74. His 54-hole score of 215 (+2) put him into a tie for 34th and gave him four straight tournament finishes inside the top 35.

Jake Brown finished with a 75 in his final round to put him at 4-over par for the tournament with a total score of 217 and a tie for 41st.

Brendon Doyle closed the tournament with an 81 and fell to a tie for 49th at 6-over par.

Even Yakubov played well in his final round, matching Brown's 75 on Sunday to tie for 94th at 15-over par overall.

And Jack Sparrow rounded out the IU lineup with a 79 in the final round, which put him at 21-over par for the tournament and a tie for 104th.

With the fall portion of the 2017-18 schedule now complete, Indiana will return to action for the Big Ten Match Play in Palm Coast, Fla. on February 9-10.
