Ferrell Signs 2-Year Contract With Dallas Mavericks

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana - Former Indiana All-American guard Kevin Yogi Ferrell signed a 2-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday (Feb. 7) after completing a 10-day contract with the team.
During the 10-day contract with Dallas, Ferrell started all five games the Mavs played and helped the team to a 4-1 record. He averaged 17.2 points in 37.0 minutes with five assists and just two turnovers. The Indianapolis native also connected on 50 percent (15-of-30) from behind the 3-point line and was 15-of-16 at the free throw line.
