Hoosiers Set for Spring Bash

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Volleyball team will open spring competition by hosting its annual Spring Bash with Indiana State on Friday March 24 at 6:00 p.m. at University Gym.
The evening will start with some scrimmage and drills before the two teams will play a best two out of three match.
Following the match the players and staff will be available to talk and sign autographs.
IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan expressed her thoughts on the spring and the progress of the team.
"It has been fun to see people grow as the year has gone along," she said. "Some have stepped into leadership roles on their own and it's great to see the development in everyone. We are trying to build our identity, which is going to take work and not just how to pass a ball."
Following the Spring Bash the Hoosiers will have two more competition dates. On April 1, they will take part in the Indy Collegiate Spring Invitational and on April 22 they will play in the Purdue Spring Invitational.
"I'm looking forward to Friday and to see our team compete," Dunbar-Kruzan added. "We have been working on a lot of things and we will put that to the test in a match environment."
