KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Day one of the Tennessee Relays was a quick one. Just four Hoosiers entered the competition. The morning wave saw the men's and women's multi events, followed by the hammer throw in the afternoon and the 10,000m run in the evening.
After five events scored in the men's decathlon, Andrew Huber is just 11 points out of first place. He started the morning with a personal best time of 11.08 in the 100m dash, securing 843 points. In the long jump he hit a mark of 6.54m (21-5.5) to score 707 points. The third event, the shot put, scored 580 points for Huber with a mark of 11.56m (37-11.25).
