Indiana Shuts Out Miami, 1-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Soccer won its second spring game of the season on Saturday, defeating Miami (Ohio) at Bill Armstrong Stadium, 1-0.
Freshman Allison Jorden netted the gamewinner while Sarah L'Hommedieu and Bethany Kopel combined for their second shutout of the spring in goal.
Jorden's score came in the 22nd minute of action. After a corner kick was served in, the ball bounced around in the box before the Scottsdale, Ariz. native buried it to give the Hoosiers the lead.
Jorden had a productive freshman season in the fall, starting all 20 games and netting a pair of goals for the Hoosiers.
Indiana host its final home spring game next Saturday as the Hoosiers face Illinois State at 2 p.m. IU will then close out spring play on April 22 at St. Louis.
