Indiana Shuts Out Miami, 1-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Soccer won its second spring game of the season on Saturday, defeating Miami (Ohio) at Bill Armstrong Stadium, 1-0.

Freshman Allison Jorden netted the gamewinner while Sarah L'Hommedieu and Bethany Kopel combined for their second shutout of the spring in goal.

Jorden's score came in the 22^nd minute of action. After a corner kick was served in, the ball bounced around in the box before the Scottsdale, Ariz. native buried it to give the Hoosiers the lead.

Jorden had a productive freshman season in the fall, starting all 20 games and netting a pair of goals for the Hoosiers.

Indiana host its final home spring game next Saturday as the Hoosiers face Illinois State at 2 p.m. IU will then close out spring play on April 22 at St. Louis.
