Final Results

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Golf shot the lowest round of the day and helped propel them as the winners of the IU Invitational at IU Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Alix Kong took home her first individual title of her Hoosier career, shooting 2-under par 214 for the win. She would win the field by two strokes as she rounded out the tournament with a 71 as she tallied four birdies in the final round.

Sophomore Erin Harper earned her second top five finish of her career, coming in fourth overall with a 221 including a 75 (+4) in the final round. Also earning their first top 10 finishes of their careers were senior Theresa Ann Jedra and Emma Fisher who finished tied for eighth carding 225 in three rounds. Fisher finished with her lowest round of the weekend with a 73 while Jedra added a 77.

The entire IU field finished above 20^th as rounding out IU's leaderboard was senior Ana Sanjuan, who tied for 17^th overall with a 229. As a team, Indiana shot 295 in the third and final round for a final score of 884. The team title is the first for Indiana since it won the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in 2012-13.

Toledo finished as the runner up (899) while Western Michigan (901), Eastern Michigan (917) and Illinois State (930) rounded out the top five.

Playing as individuals, four Hoosiers were led by a tied for 24^th finish from redshirt freshman Carolina Garrett (234). Freshman Elisa Pierre was three stroke behind Garrett with a 237 and in 30^th place overall while junior Pear Siriko (48^th, 248) and senior Paige Crafton (53^rd, 266) also saw action in the lone home tournament of the year.

The Hoosiers will play its final regular season tournament at the Lady Buckeye Invitational on April 15-16.
