
Forbes to Represent Ontario in Canada Summer Games

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Incoming Indiana Women's Soccer freshman Melanie Forbes will represent Ontario as a member of the U18 Provincial team for the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
Forbes, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, was one of 18 players named to the Women's Canada Games roster this week. Ontario will also play the League1 Ontario Women's All-Star team July 25 prior to the Canada Games.
The Games, which begin July 28 in Winnipeg, feature more than 250 events across 16 sports.
Ontario is in Group C and will open competition on July 29 against the Northwest Territories. The team will face Prince Edward Island on July 31 before the Medal Round begins Aug. 1.
