• Indiana notched its 10th win of the season and third victory in the Big Ten to improve to 10-7, 3-2.
• IU has also now won four of its last five games.
• The Hoosiers saw five players (Green, Newkirk, Johnson, Morgan, Hartman) in double figures for the first time this season. The last game with five double-digit scorers for IU was March 4, 2017 at Ohio State.
• The Hoosiers led for just a little over 36 minutes while Penn State led for only 59 seconds.
• When leading with five minutes or less in the game, IU improved to 8-0 on the year.
• IU improved to 3-0 on the season when they've played in a game decided by five or less points.
• Indiana found 25 points from bench players and allowed only one point from the Penn State bench.
• Penn State's four second-chance points are the fewest allowed by the Hoosiers this season.
• With 10 points, senior guard Robert Johnson passed Jeff Newton (2000-03) for 36th on the Indiana all-time scoring list. Johnson now has 1,206 career points.
• Johnson made one three-pointer on the night, tying him with Tom Coverdale (2000-03) for fifth on the Indiana career 3FG made list with 200.
• Junior forward Juwan Morgan recorded his fifth 20+ point game of the season/his career. It is the first time he's had back-to-back 20+ point efforts.
• Morgan earned his sixth double-double (21 pts, 11 rebounds) of the season, and second in a row.
• Senior guard Josh Newkirk registered his fifth game in double figures with 16 points, combined with a team-leading four assists. He made a season-high seven free throws on eight attempts, making 4-of-4 shots from the stripe in the final minute of the second half.
• For the fourth time this season, redshirt junior forward Zach McRoberts collected an offensive and defensive rebound in a game. He totaled six boards tonight.
• It was the fourth time this season McRoberts dished three assists, his career-high.
• Fifth-year senior forward Collin Hartman finished with 10 points, his fourth game of the season he's reached double-figures.
• Freshman guard Aljami Durham had IU's only block.
• For the fifth game in a row, freshman forward Justin Smith made a field goal. He also made his third start of the season.
• Senior forward Freddie McSwain Jr. pulled down multiple offensive rebounds for the seventh time this season.
• The Hoosiers started the second half 5-for-7 from the field, jumping out to a lead as big as 11 (47-36).
• In the last 25 seconds of the game, Indiana went 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
• IU went on 7-0 run lasting 2:35 from 16:41 to 14:06 of the second half.
• The Nittany Lions were held without a free throw attempt in the first half, and their first trip to the free throw line came with 14:06 to go in the second half.
• The Hoosiers held Penn State scoreless for 3:12 (13:40-10:28) in the first half.
