Hoosiers Split Doubleheader at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana baseball played a pair of scrimmages against the Louisville Cardinals at Jim Patterson Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Hoosiers took the first game, 3-2, before falling in the second game, 5-2.
KEY MOMENTS/NOTES
• Senior Pauly Milto started game one and tossed two scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Junior Cam Beauchamp added another pair of scoreless innings after Milto.
• The Hoosiers got on the board first in the top of the fourth as senior Matt Lloyd hit an RBI triple to score junior Matt Gorski from first.
• The Cardinals plated two runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead, but in the sixth and final inning of game one, IU rallied and Gorski scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch.
• Overall in 12 innings of action on Saturday, the Hoosiers drew 16 walks and had no errors in the field.
