The Indiana women's golf team sent a trio of individuals to the Butler Fall Invitational, which takes place Oct. 1-2 at Highland Golf Club in Indianapolis. The two-day tournament features 66 players along with teams from Butler, IUPUI, Evansville, Indiana State, UIC, Chicago State among others.

ROUND 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Sophomore Mary Parsons jumped out to a 4-shot lead after the first round by firing a 68 (-2). It is just the second career round below 70 for Parsons, two shy of her career-best round of 66 last year as a freshman.

• Freshamn Maddie Dittoe, making her collegiate debut, carded a 78 in round one to tie for 15th.

• Freshman Arushi Singh opened with an 81 in round one and is tied for 26th.
