Indiana To Compete at Bradley Pink Classic, Pre-Nationals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Cross Country will be splitting up this weekend to compete in two separate meets. 16 runners will travel to Peoria, Ill. on Friday afternoon for the Bradley Classic while the remainder of the team will compete at Pre-Nationals in Madison, Wisc.
The 2018 Classic will take place at the Newman Golf Course on the campus of Bradley University on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. eastern. This year's meet will consist of four races, an A and B race for the men and women as well as an open race. 39 schools will be participating, including Big Ten foes Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.

Women's 6K White Race— 2 p.m. EST
Men's 8K White Race—2:45 p.m. EST
Open Race—2:30 p.m. EST
Women's 6K Red Race—4:15 p.m. EST
Men's 8K Red Race—5 p.m. EST
On Saturday, Nationals will be held at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course beginning at 10 a.m. 67 men's team will travel to compete throughout the day, while 71 women's teams will also compete on Saturday.
19 ranked teams will run in the men's race, with seven of the teams inside the top 10. Northern Arizona is the highest ranked team going into the weekend, they hold the top spot in the most recent poll. BYU (second), Wisconsin (third), Portland (fourth), Stanford (fifth), Syracuse (eighth), and Colorado State (ninth) round out the to-10 ranked programs competing on Saturday. The Hoosiers go in the race ranked 21st.
The women's races will feature 20 ranked teams, touting seven in the top 10. Top-ranked Colorado highlights the field while New Mexico (third), Oregon (fourth), Stanford (fifth), Arkansas (seventh), and Wisconsin (ninth) round out the top-10 talent running Saturday. The Hoosiers will look to break the top-10 with a good finish on Saturday. They currently sit at No. 11 in the most recent poll.
The Indiana men's team will compete in the white race at 1 p.m. eastern and the women will compete in the Cardinal Race at 11 a.m. eastern.
