CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Indiana women's tennis team had three in competition at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships Oct. 11-15 in Chattanooga.

Seniors Madison Appel and Natalie Whalen and redshirt junior Caitlin Bernard made the trip for the Hoosiers.

All three played singles and Appel and Bernard paired together in doubles.

• Madison Appel went 2-1 in singles on the trip with a 6-4, 6-2 win against Kim Kermit of Middle Tennessee State and a 6-3, 6-1 win against Antonella Bramato of Cincinnati.
• Natalie Whalen went 2-1 in singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win against Lauren Gish of Vanderbilt and a 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 win against Costanza Magazzini of Middle Tennessee State.
• Up next the Hoosiers will compete at the Alabama Classic Oct. 26-27 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
