Hoosiers One-Hit Southern Indiana in Exhibition

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Indiana baseball defeated Southern Indiana by a score of 8-0 on Saturday afternoon at Bosse Field. Hoosier pitchers held the Screaming Eagles to just one hit, while the offense collected 13 hits of its own.
KEY MOMENTS/NOTES
• Junior Tanner Gordon (3 innings), sophomore Tommy Sommer (3 innings), junior Andrew Saalfrank (two innings) and junior Cal Krueger (one inning) combined for the one-hitter.
• Indiana surrendered just two walks on top of the one hit, with Gordon striking out five hitters and Sommer punching out six.
• Senior Matt Lloyd paced the Hoosiers in the cleanup spot, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles.
