IU’s Swartz Earns Big Ten, National Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer midfielder Trevor Swartz earned Big Ten and national honors after a stellar week on the pitch for the Hoosiers.
Swartz was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and also earned a spot on Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week.
This past Friday, Swartz scored the match-winner for IU in the 84th minute against Rutgers. Last Tuesday, the redshirt senior had two assists in the team's 3-0 win over in-state rival Butler.
On the season, Swartz leads the Big Ten and ranks fourth nationally with 10 assists to go along with his one goal.
Swartz and the No. 2-ranked Hoosiers will head to Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 24 to face Big Ten rival Ohio State at 7:00 p.m. ET.
