Hagen Earns First Big Ten Athlete of the Week Honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— The Big Ten Conference has announced their Big Ten Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors. Graduate student Kenneth Hagen was tabbed as the men's Athlete of the Week after a strong finish in the Illini Open.
The Blacksburg, Va. native had a solid performance last weekend at the Illini Open. He finished first for the Hoosiers and 4th overall. His finish time of 25:33.8 was the best finish this season for the graduate student.
Next up, Indiana will travel to Lincoln, Neb. to compete at the Big Ten Championships. The women's 6k race will begin at 11:45 ET with the men's 8k race to follow.
