BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana football team takes on the Minnesota Golden Gophers for a Friday night showdown. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET on FS1.
Each week we will compile five quotes and storylines recapping the previous game and previewing the upcoming one.

TOM ALLEN
"We obviously play a team up in Minnesota, first Friday night game we've had here for a long time...so heading back up there for a Friday night game and Coach Fleck has a young team. He's a new coach there that has an amazing amount of energy and passion, what he's built there. It's going to be a tremendously hard-fought, physical game and they've got a lot of play-makers on offense coming together and playing better every single week and a defense that flies around, one of the top in the Big Ten in tackles for loss and has the sack leader for the Big Ten right now. And has several good players and they do a great job of playing really, really hard and playing together."

OC Mike DeBord
"First of all (Reese Taylor) is smart. I mean to be able to do all the things on offense that he's been doing, he's a smart football player and he's a guy that's got great feet. He's a guy you have to account for if you're on defense, he does a good job throwing the ball, too. We are building that package for him, throw game-wise, but the run game stuff has all been there and some of the pass stuff has also."
S Bryant Fitzgerald
"I think it's very important that we (continue to improve in the pass game) because if we can stop the pass, we could make a team one-dimensional. That's a big part of the game and turning the tide, for our side. For us improving, it will only help us defensively get better as the season goes along."

QB Peyton Ramsey
"We were able to run the ball and we did it all game long and that helped. It helps in the pass game and it helped for us to be able to pick up yards, 554 yards. There's not a lot of concern, but at the same time you know we have to do a better job of finishing and put the ball in the end zone and score points."

LB Reakwon Jones
"I think the execution (on Saturday) was really a big part that stuck out to me. People were doing their job consistently, over and over. We can't deny the fact that everyone played extremely hard on defense and it was just a great thing to see. There's going to be mistakes no matter what during a game, but overall the execution in that effort was really what stuck out to me."

RB Stevie Scott
"We were definitely productive on offense, very physical just moving the ball and playing our game."
