BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Softball will travel to Durham, N.C. to battle Duke and Syracuse in the 2019 ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge, the conference office announced on Thursday.
The Hoosiers will play each team twice, beginning with a single game against the Blue Devils on Friday, Feb. 15. IU will face off against Syracuse first on Saturday before again facing Duke. The weekend will conclude on Sunday with another meeting between Indiana and Syracuse.
Last season, IU participated in the event for the first time as the Hoosiers faced Georgia Tech and Boston College.
The fourth annual event will feature 10 schools from each conference, with eight of those schools playing four games each at four campus sites, while two more compete at the inaugural ESPN St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational in Clearwater, Fla., all during a four-day period from Feb. 14-17, 2019.
