• Indiana played the team's inaugural game at TCF Bank Stadium.
• The teams met for the just the second time (2013) since 2008.
• The game marked IU's first Friday night game since Sept. 2, 2005 - a 20-13 victory at Central Michigan.
• The Hoosiers scored on the team's opening drive for the fifth-straight game and for the seventh time his season when kicker Logan Justus hit a 33-yard field goal.
• The game marked the third multi-field goal game of the season and the first three field-goal game for Justus, who also hit 24-yard and 41-yard field goals. Justus is 11-for-13 this season.
• Justus' three field goals are tied for the ninth-most in a game in program history.
• Redshirt junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey completed 29-of-44 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. Ramsey rushed eight times for 57 yards, including a career-long rush of 29 yards in the fourth quarter.
• Ramsey now sits at 25 career touchdown passes, the 10th-most in program history.
• True freshman running back Stevie Scott rushed 18 times for 96 yards and one touchdown. Scott has seven rushing touchdowns on the season.
• Scott ranks tied for first in touchdowns (7), fourth in attempts (159), and fourth in rushing yards (791) for a true freshman in school history.
• Sophomore wide receiver Ty Fryfogle's 37-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter was his second TD of the season and also marked the longest reception of his career.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Donovan Hale's 43-yard touchdown reception was the seventh of his career and his fifth of the season. The catch was the second-longest of his career.
• With seven catches, fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian netted the team-high in receptions, and added 48 yards.
• Indiana has 20 takeaways this season – 10 fumbles and 10 interceptions – with the Hoosiers scoring 59 points off those takeaways.
• The game marked the fifth this season with multiple takeaways for the Hoosiers.
• The last game Indiana recovered three fumbles was against Georgia Southern on Sept. 23, 2017.
• Friday's game marked the second this season where the Hoosiers recorded four takeaways (Michigan State) and the third under Tom Allen.
• Redshirt freshman safety Bryant Fitzgerald had an interception and a forced fumble in the game, giving him a team-best six takeaways on the season – three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
• True freshman husky Cam Jones forced his second fumble of the season. Redshirt freshman safety Juwan Burgess recovered his first career fumble. Jones also had a career-high five tackles on the night.
• Fifth-year defensive lineman Mike Barwick Jr. recovered his first career fumble.
• Redshirt junior linebacker Reakwon Jones made six tackles, his second most of the season.
• Sophomore cornerback Raheem Layne forced his first career fumble in the first quarter. Layne also recovered a fumble in the third quarter and added on a team- and career-high seven tackles.
• Junior safety Khalil Bryant forced a fumble in the third quarter, the first of his career. Bryant is the 10th different IU player to force a fumble this season.
• Fifth-year senior linebacker Dameon Willis Jr. recorded a sack in the third quarter, giving him 1.5 for the season and his career. Willis added six tackles in the effort.
• Redshirt junior tight end Austin Dorris made his first career start.
• True freshman linebacker James Miller became the 15th true freshman to earn time in 2018.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the ninth time in as many games this season.
