Swope Tabbed for Big Ten Sportsmanship Award

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— The Big Ten Conference has announced their All-Big Ten Teams along with their sportsmanship honorees list. Senior captain, Taylor Swope was awarded the Sportsmanship award on Wednesday afternoon per the league.
The student-athletes chosen for this Big Ten award have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These students must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
On the field, Swope appeared in 68 games for the Hoosiers while scoring four goals and notching seven assists. The midfielder is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and was the recipient of the team's Hustle Award in 2017.
Swope is a representative on Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where she had the opportunity to travel to the NCAA Apple Conference as the SAAC representative.
