Indiana at No. 3 Ohio State
Team
• Indiana has faced 20 ranked teams since the start of 2014.
• The Hoosiers received the ball to begin the game and scored first for the first time this season.
• IU scored its 41st point off of 13 takeaways this year.
• Ohio State won the toss and deferred. Indiana is 4-2 in coin tosses in 2018.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the sixth straight game.
Offense
• Indiana's offense scored points on all four trips inside the red zone.
• Redshirt sophomore quarterback Peyton Ramsey went 26-of-49 for a career-high 322 yards and matched a career-high with three touchdowns. It is the seventh multi-touchdown game of his career and his fourth of the season.
• Ramsey also set a career-high with his 49 attempts.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Nick Westbrook carded his fourth career 100-yard game and his first of 2018 with 109 yards on five receptions. He pulled in his second touchdown of the year, a 19-yarder, and the ninth of his career in the second quarter.
• Fifth-year senior J-Shun Harris II caught a career-high eight passes for a career-best 104 yards, his first career 100-yard game. Harris collected a 30-yard, one-handed grab, the second-longest of his career.
• The Hoosiers had multiple 100-yard receivers for the first time since the 2017 finale at Purdue.
• On the game's opening drive, true freshman running back Stevie Scott broke out a 45-yard run, a career-long. It was his third rush of 40-plus yards this season.
• With 64 yards on the day, Scott increased his 2018 total to 528 yards, becoming the seventh true freshman to accumulate 500-or-more yards in a season. He currently sits sixth on the list.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Donavan Hale hauled in his sixth career touchdown pass and his fourth of the season on a 3-yard strike in the third stanza.
• Redshirt freshman tight end Peyton Hendershot caught his second career touchdown from 32 yards out in quarter No. 2. The 32-yarder is a career-long reception.
Defense
• Indiana recorded two interceptions and one fumble recovery to push its season takeaway total to 13 (7 INT, 6 FR). It is the 14th multi-takeaway and ninth three takeaway game of the Tom Allen era (31 games) and the third in both categories this season.
• Redshirt junior defensive tackle Brandon Wilson notched his first career forced fumble and it was recovered by true freshman husky Cam Jones, his third career takeaway (forced fumble, interception).
• Fifth-year senior Dameon Willis Jr. set a career-high in tackles with nine.
• Redshirt junior linebacker Reakwon Jones also set a career-high in tackles with seven.
• Jones pressured Dwayne Haskins into a second quarter interception made by true freshman safety Devon Matthews, the first of his career. Matthews has two career takeaways (fumble recovery).
• Sophomore linebacker T.D. Roof's eight tackles were a career-high. Roof also tacked on a tackle for a loss.
• Fifth-year senior defensive tackle Mike Barwick Jr. (career-high), junior safety Khalil Bryant (tied career-high), redshirt freshman safety Juwan Burgess (tied career-high), sophomore cornerback Raheem Layne and junior defensive end Allen Stallings IV (career-high) each recorded five tackles.
• Redshirt freshman defensive back Bryant Fitzgerald's interception in the third quarter was his first career interception and third career takeaway (forced fumble and fumble recovery).
• Redshirt senior defensive end Nile Sykes tallied his seventh career sack and second of the season.
Special Teams
• Redshirt junior kicker Logan Justus converted on two field goals, his second game with two three-pointers, to improve to 7-of-9 on the season. Justus had made six straight kicks before a miss late in the third quarter.
