Notes
• The Hoosiers are 11-6 on the season and 2-4 in Big Ten matches with wins against Northwestern and at Ohio State.
• Last time out the Hoosiers lost in five sets at No. 16 Michigan.
• Freshman Breana Edwards leads the Hoosiers in kills with 210. Edwards posted 22 kills last time out against Michigan. Edwards has led the Hoosiers in kills in 10 matches this season and ranks third in the Big Ten among freshmen in kills.
• Nebraska leads the all-time series against Indiana, 14-1, with the only Indiana win on a neutral court on October 14, 1978.
• Indiana ranks fifth in the Big Ten in digs per set at 14.78.
• Sophomore libero Bayli Lebo leads Indiana with 296 digs on the season. Lebo had a career-high 26 digs at Michigan and have posted 20 or more digs in six matches this season.
• Junior middle blocker Deyshia Lofton ranks seventh in the Big Ten in hitting percentage at .375 and is 10th in the conference in blocks at 1.16 per set. Lofton is hitting .358 in the six Big Ten matches combined.
• The Hoosiers play 15 of their first 18 matches of the season on the road, including the 11 straight non-conference matches to open the season. Indiana traveled 5,140 miles in non-conference play for those 11 matches.
• The three Indiana freshmen combined have only missed four sets this season.
• Freshman Lexi Johnson ranks second on the team in blocks with 53 and leads the Hoosiers in solo blocks with 15.
• Freshman Abigail Westenhofer has posted 328 assists and 106 digs on the season.
• Junior setter Victoria Brisack leads the Hoosiers in assists with 407. Brisack is 42 assists from 2,000 for her career.
• Senior Elizabeth Asdell recorded her 700th career kill last time out against Michigan.
Next Home Match
The Hoosiers next home match will be Saturday Oct. 13 when they host Rutgers. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at University Gym in Bloomington, Ind. The match will be a Red Out with free t-shirts. Also fans with football ticket stubs will get in for $2.
