Indiana Men's and Women's NCAA Championships Bound

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— The NCAA announced their at-large team bids and individual qualifiers on Saturday evening for the NCAA Championships that will be held in Madison, Wisc. on Nov. 17. The Hoosiers saw both their men's and women's programs earn team bids. This is the first time that both teams have made it to the national meet since 2013.
The women's team placed fifth in the Great Lake Regional this past Friday and were led by senior Maggie Allen who placed eighth overall at the meet. This will be the 10th trip to the championships meet for the women.
On the men's side. they make their 39th trip to the national meet after placing fifth in the Great Lakes Regional. Junior Kyle Mau led the way for Indiana as he placed fourth overall.
NCAA Championships will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The women's 6K race is slated to begin at 11:45 am EST with the men's 10K race to follow at 12:45 pm EST.
