Allen and Piper Named Google Cloud Academic All-District

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Soccer seniors Abby Allen and Maya Piper have been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team, College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced.
The recognition, which is voted on by sports information directors across the country, honors student-athletes for their combined performances both athletically and in the classroom.
Allen, who was named to the First Team, is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and last year was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. The Whitehouse, Ohio native led the Hoosiers in scoring this season with eight goals and seven assists, both career highs.
Piper, a second team honoree, earns the accolade for the second straight year. The Midland, Mich. Native is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten pick and was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. Piper scored a pair of goals for the Hoosiers and added seven assists.
