Indiana Field Hockey Announces Newest Signing Class

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— Indiana Field Hockey announced their 2018 signing class on Wednesday afternoon. The Hoosiers will add three to their 2019 roster. Tori Hill (Louisville, Ky.), Jackie Mortell (Ann Arbor, Mich.), and Kennedy Reardon (Lafayette Hill, Pa.) have all signed their National Letters of Intent to play for the Cream and Crimson next fall.
Tori Hill | Forward | Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy
Hill comes to Indiana after spending three years on the varsity field hockey team where she was named captain her senior year. She appeared on the Class of 2019 Player to Watch list in 2017 and 2018 while also being named a Senior State All-Star. Hill was named to the Kentucky All State Select Team 2. While competing with the Sacred Heart Academy squad, she helped them to 2018 KHSAA State Title, 2018 Apple Tournament victory, and had a 25-1 2018 season. During 2016 and 2017 they were State Semi-finalists and Apple Tournament runners-up. The incoming freshman plays club field hockey for Stealth who were 2013 and 2014 Chicago Pumpkin Champions and placed 9th at NCC in 2014.
Off the field, Hill is a 4.0 student who is part of the National Honor Society. She serves a Student Ambassador, a Heart to Heart Retreat Leader for underclassman and also served on the Senior Legacy Board. In her free time, she volunteered for the Everyone Read Program and currently volunteers for Atria Senior Living.
Tori Hill resides with her parents Maury and Amy Hill and has a brother named Drew.
Jackie Mortell | Midfield | Ann Arbor, Mich./Community/Huron HS
Mortell will join the Hoosiers upon graduating from Huron High School where the field hockey team was ranked No. 12 in the West/Mid-West Region. She played four years of varsity field hockey and served as a senior captain in 2018 while earning four straight Individual and team Academic All-State honors. The NFHCA named her to the National Academic Squad in 2017. She helped her team to back-to-back Michigan state championships in 2017 and 2018. She garnered All-State Honorable Mention Honors for her efforts in the 2018 season. Also, she played club field hockey with the Fer De Lance Field Hockey Club.
Jackie Mortell has two sisters named Janie and Katherine and resides with her mother Pat Mortell.
Kennedy Reardon | Midfield/Forward | Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh
Reardon comes to Indiana after spending two seasons as the captain of the field hockey team. During her time at Plymouth Whitemarsh, she netted 58 goals and 16 assists while gathering 132 points. She is a four-time SOL American Conference Champion as the team went undefeated in league play her sophomore, junior, and senior year. In 2017 she was honored with Plymouth Whitemarsh Field Hockey Heart and Hustle Award while earning 1st Team SOL American Conference and 2nd team all-state. At the club level, she played for WC Eagles who were NIT Champions is 2015 (U16), 2016 (U16), and 2017 (U19).
Kennedy Reardon resides with her parents Mike and Paula Reardon and has a brother named Dutch.
