Wooden Award Watch List Includes Langford, Morgan

Chosen by a preseason poll of national college basketball experts, the list is comprised of 50 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for the most prestigious honors in college basketball, the Wooden Award All American Team™ and Most Outstanding Player Award.
Morgan and Langford also are on the Naismith Award Watch List and Langofrd is on the NABC Player of the Year Watch list.
Morgan, a 6-8 forward from Waynesville, Mo., is in his fourth year with the Hoosiers and earned All-Big Ten and All-District honors as a junior. He improved his overall scoring by 8.8 points and his Big Ten output by 10.6 points and started 30 games. He averaged 16.5 points overall and 7.4 rebounds. He needs 170 points to become the 52nd player in IU history to reach the 1,000-point mark in their career. He also is on the Karl Malone Watch List given to the top power forward each college basketball season and earned Preseason All-Big Ten honors.
Langford, a 6-6 guard from New Albany, is the 27th former Indiana Mr. Basketball and 21sts former McDonald's All-American to wear the Cream and Crimson. He ranked fourth all-time in Indiana High School basketball history scoring 3,002 points and averaged 28.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in his four seasons as a prep. A two-time prep All-American, Langford was ranked the No. 5 player in the Class of 2018 by ESPN and 247 Sports. Langford was named third-team Preseason All-American by ESPN.com and CBSSports.com and earned fourth-team honors from WatchStadium.com. A preseason All-Big Ten pick, he also is on the Jerry West Award Watch list awarded to the top shooting guard in the country.
