BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Coming off of three straight wins, the Indiana University men's basketball team returned to the AP Top 25 for the first time since January 2, 2017. The Hoosiers are tied for 25th with Syracuse and Kansas State and are the eighth Big Ten team to appear in the rankings this season.
For IU Coach Archie Miller, it is the first time the Hoosiers have been ranked during his brief tenure. When he was coaching Dayton, the Flyers were ranked during the 2013-14, 14-15 and 15-16 seasons.
It marks the 555th time that Indiana has been ranked in the history of the Associated Press poll dating back to 1949. That total ranks seventh among all schools totals.
