Gorski Named No. 32 Draft Prospect by Perfect Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana junior outfielder Matt Gorski has been named the No. 32 collegiate MLB Draft Prospect by Perfect Game, it was announced on Monday.

A first team All-Big Ten selection and an ABCA First Team All-Mideast Region honoree in 2018, Gorski started 58 games in left field and led the Hoosiers in batting average (.356), hits (79) and total bases (123). He recorded 14 doubles, three triples, and eight home runs on the year while tallying a team-high 27 multi-hit games, including two four-hit efforts.

Gorski finished fourth in the Big Ten in stolen bases (24, t-45^th nationally), tied for fourth in hits (79), fifth in total bases (123), tied for fifth in triples (3), seventh in batting average (.356), 11^th in slugging percentage (.554), tied for 12^th in doubles (14).
