Eight Hoosiers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Eight members of the Indiana volleyball team earned Academic All-Big Ten honors the conference announced on Wednesday.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list as of November 1 for fall sports, who have been enrolled fulltime at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The eight honorees were part of 80 Indiana fall sport Academic All-Big Ten honors.
"Reaching our highest academic potential is one of our top priorities, and we are extremely proud of these 77 individuals for their accomplishments and commitment to excellence in the classroom," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass. "These awards are not only a credit to our students, but also our coaches and academic support staff who play an invaluable role in helping our students reach their full academic potential."
