Three Hoosiers Earn All-America Honors from United Soccer Coaches

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Indiana University men's soccer's Andrew Gutman, Trey Muse and Griffin Dorsey earned All-America honors from United Soccer Coaches on Thursday.
Gutman and Muse were named First-Team All-Americans, while Dorsey earned second-team recognition. Gutman is one of only two players (Tucker Bone – Air Force) to repeat as an All-America honoree this season.
In the storied history of Indiana men's soccer, 43 Indiana players have garnered a total of 72 All-America honors. Gutman becomes the 17th player in program history to earn All-America accolades in more than one season.
A unanimous selection as Big Ten Defender of the Year and First-Team All-Big Ten, Gutman also earned First-Team All-North Region accolades this season. A MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist, Gutman leads the Hoosiers with 11 goals on the season to go with nine assists.
Last season, Gutman earned Second-Team All-America honors from United Soccer Coaches and College Soccer News and was also a Top Drawer Soccer Third-Team Best XI selection.
Muse, a unanimous choice as Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year and First-Team All-Big Ten, ranks fourth in the nation with 12 solo shutouts this season. Also a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and First-Team All-North Region honoree, Muse ranks third in the NCAA in goals-against average at 0.478.
A First-Team All-Big Ten and All-North Region selection, Dorsey has been a difference-maker for the Hoosiers in his sophomore season. Dorsey has scored five goals to go with five assists this season for Indiana.
The No. 1-ranked Indiana Hoosiers will face the No. 15 Maryland Terrapins on Friday, Dec. 7 in the College Cup national semifinals at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif. The match will be televised nationally live on ESPNU at 10:30 p.m. ET.
