Hoosiers Travel to Notre Dame

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will make its first road trip of the season when they travel to South Bend, Ind., for a doubleheader on Sunday against Notre Dame and Wright State.
The Hoosiers (8-1) will take on Notre Dame (2-2) on Feb. 18 at 10:00 a.m. and Wright State (3-5) at 5:00 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
Most recently the Hoosiers played a closely contested match against Tennessee, ranked just outside of the top 25. Indiana won the doubles point and two singles matches against the Volunteers.
The Hoosiers 8-0 start to the season was their best start since they started 8-0 in the 2012-13 season.
Indiana had compiled a dual match play singles record of 40-10 and a doubles record of 19-4.
Madison Appel has an overall singles record of 17-2 on the season, including 7-0 in dual matches. Caitlin Bernard (8-1), Jelly Bozovic (6-1) and Michelle McKamey (8-1) have also been strong for the Hoosiers in dual match play.
In doubles, Bernard and Bozovic have combined for a perfect 6-0 mark in dual match play.
Live scoring and video will be available for the match against Notre Dame.
