Hoosiers Travel to East Coast

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team is back on the road this weekend as they take on Cornell on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and are at No. 25 Princeton on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
The Hoosiers (9-2) dropped a 4-3 match against Notre Dame last week before rebounding for a 4-0 victory against Wright State later that day.
Cornell comes into the match with an overall record of 5-4 with two straight victories (Connecticut, Rutgers). Princeton has an 8-1 record with their only defeat against No. 20 Kentucky. Earlier this week Princeton beat Rutgers 7-0. Princeton also has a win this season against then No. 12 Auburn.
The Hoosiers have posted an overall dual match singles record of 45-14 and doubles record of 23-5.
Madison Appel leads the way for Indiana at the No. 1 singles spot and has an 8-0 record in dual match play. In doubles the team of Caitlin Bernard and Jelly Bozovic has posted a perfect 7-0 record.
