BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University head men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley announced on Wednesday that Jack Maher, Daniel Munie, Bryant Pratt, Isaac Sarosy, Ryan Wittenbrink and Ben Yeagley have chosen to continue their soccer careers with the Hoosiers.
"We are excited to bring a great group of young men to IU," Yeagley remarked. "They all possess the character and winning qualities that are important to our soccer program. This class helped fill important positional needs heading into our 2018 season. We feel these six young men will play an important role in the near future as we prepare to graduate a large number of starters after the 2018 fall season.
"Our recruiting coordinator, Kevin Robson, and the rest of our staff did a wonderful job helping to bring this talented group to Indiana University. We are confident that our 2018 class will leave a positive mark as they demonstrate excellence in the classroom and on the soccer field."
The highly-touted, six-member class – which is ranked No. 8 in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer – will join a talented group of returnees for the Hoosiers in 2018. Indiana, College Cup finalists in 2017, finished last season ranked No. 2 in the nation after posting a record of 18-1-6.
IU reached the NCAA Tournament for the 31st-straight season in 2017 and for the 42nd time in program history. The Hoosiers 19th College Cup appearance last year is a NCAA record.
