Schmid Goes Low To Move Into Top Ten At Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, SC - Freshman Priscilla Schmid set a new career low and tied for the second-best round in school history on day two of the Clemson Invitational on Saturday.
Schmid's 67 moved her into a tie for 10th place overall heading into tomorrow's final round at The Reserve at Lake Keowee as she carded seven birdies on the afternoon. She has a combined two round score of 140 and looks for her third top ten finish this season.
Freshman Mary Parsons went 1-under par with two birdies and 14 holes at par as she moves into T22nd (143). Freshman Angela Aung also turned in a 71, tying lowest round of her career as she birdied five holes on the front nine to come in the afternoon T65th.
Indiana tied for the second lowest team round of the day, shaving off 11 strokes from the previous day with a 284. As a team, they moved up one spot into ninth place and are just six strokes out of fifth place.
Junior Erin Harper turned in a 75 and is in T42nd while senior Pear Siriko is T77th with a 77 in the round today. The third and final round is underway with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
