Hoosiers Set to Host Iowa, Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will continue their stretch of home matches as they prepare to host Iowa on March 31 and Nebraska on April 1. Both matches will be at 11:00 a.m.
The Hoosiers (13-6, 1-3) are coming off a Big Ten home opening win against Minnesota last week. Indiana beat the Golden Gophers by a score of 5-2.
Iowa comes in with an overall record of 9-8 and a 1-3 mark in conference play. The Hawkeyes have a win against Michigan State, 4-3 and have dropped matches against Penn State, Michigan and Ohio State.
Nebraska has an overall record of 13-4 and 2-2 mark in Big Ten play. The Huskers have wins over Penn State and Ohio State and have dropped matches against Michigan and Michigan State.
Redshirt sophomore Caitlin Bernard leads the Hoosiers with a 14-5 record in dual matches singles matches this season. In doubles Bernard and Jelly Bozovic have a 10-3 record and Madison Appel and Michelle McKamey are 10-4.
IU head coach Ramiro Azcui said he liked the energy and intensity that the Hoosiers brought as they picked up their first Big Ten win against Minnesota.
