ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Indiana men's tennis team (9-10) were defeated by the No. 11 Michigan Wolverines, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon inside the Varsity Tennis Center.
Doubles came down to the wire as the Wolverines took the second spot and senior Raheel Manji and sophomore Zac Brodney won 6-4 at the third spot. In the deciding match for the extra point, IU faced a Michigan match point at 6-5 but rallied to send it to a tiebreaker.
In the tiebreaker, senior Keivon Tabrizi and sophomore Bennett Crane jumped out to a 4-1 lead and had to rally after the Wolverines pair roared back for a 5-4 lead. Three straight points for IU gave them the tiebreaker win at the top spot and won them the doubles point.

With two ranked players, the top two spots went Michigan's way to lock up a 4-2 win.
