Bryant Earns All-NBA G League Honors

Former Indiana Hoosier and current Los Angeles Lakers rookie center Thomas Bryant has been named to the All-NBA G League First Team for his play for the Lakers G League affiliate, South Bay.
Bryant appeared in 37 games (35 starts) for South Bay, averaging 19.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in 30.7 minutes. Bryant tallied 19 games with 20 points or more this season, including four 30-point games. The rookie center out of Indiana notched nine double-doubles and shot 59.5 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from three-point range.
He appeared in 15 games in the NBA this season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds.
Bryant was also named to the NBA G League All-Rookie Team.
The Rochester, N.Y. native played two seasons at Indiana and led the team to the 2016 Big Ten title and the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament that season.
