Erin Harper To Play In NCAA Women’s Golf Regional

INDIANAPOLIS - Junior Erin Harper has earned one of six individual spots at the 2017 NCAA Regional in Madison, Wis. announced on Wednesday.
Harper will be making her first NCAA appearance as she posted a 73.32 average and picking up medalist honors at the Fresno State Classic where she scored a 54-hole season low of 211. She has two other top 13 finishes on the season and has posted 12 of 25 rounds at or under par. Harper recently finished T22nd at Big Ten Championships last weekend at TPC River's Bend where she shot a 219 (76-70-73). Her season low round came in the opening round of the Ptarmigan Ram Classic where she shot a 69 on her way to a T11th finish.
The Dublin, Ohio native is the first individual to play in the NCAA Championships for Indiana since Elizabeth Tong played in the 2015 Regional at Notre Dame. Competition runs from May 7-9 at University Ridge Golf Course with 54 holes of play. The low six teams and low three individuals, not on those teams, will advance to NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Okla. on May 18-23.
