Erin Harper Wraps Up Play At NCAA Championships

STILLWATER, Okla. - Indiana Women's Golf junior Erin Harper completed play at NCAA Championships on Sunday at Karsten Creek Golf Course.

Harper finishes as the third ever Hoosier to compete as an individual at NCAA Championships, the first since 1989. Her three-round score of 250 was met with an 82 in the third round with a final place of T130th (86-82-82).

In her final 18 holes, Harper started off with a bogey but followed up with pars on No. 11-13. She had seven holes at par to finish up play in a highly competitive field. The top 15 teams and nine individuals not on those teams will advance to tomorrow's championship round.

The Dublin, Ohio native finished the season second in stroke average for Indiana, compiling a 74.06 in 31 rounds played for the fifth-best single season stroke average in school history. She won the Fresno State Classic and advanced to NCAA Championships after finishing T7th at the Madison Regional.
