Softball Lands 12 on Academic All-Big Ten List

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Softball had 12 earn Academic All-Big Ten honors for the Spring 2018 semester, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Earning the accolade for the third time in their career were seniors Rebecca Blitz, Emily Kirk and Taylor Uden. Senior Aimilia McDonough and juniors Sarah Galovich and Tara Trainer earn the honor for the second year while sophomore Gabbi Jenkins, Katie Lacefield, Bella Norton, Sydney Hester and redshirt sophomores Josie Wood and Jessica Conenna are first-time honorees.
