Hoosiers Release 2018 Schedule, Season Tickets on Sale June 5

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana head coach Steve Aird has announced the 2018 schedule for the 44th season of Indiana volleyball. The Hoosiers will play seven teams that finished in the 2017 AVCA Top 25 and nine teams from the 2017 NCAA Championships.
Season tickets will go on sale Tuesday June 5 at 10:00 a.m. ET and will feature premium seating options with special incentives, to be announced tomorrow.
Indiana will open the season by traveling to Las Vegas for the UNLV Invitational Aug. 24-25. The Hoosiers will take on the host Rebels as well as LIU Brooklyn and Southern Utah.
The following weekend the Hoosiers will travel to State College, Pa., where they will take on Texas A&M and Temple.
The third weekend of the season, the Hoosiers will head to Ball State to take on the Cardinals as well as North Dakota State and Northern Iowa.
In the final weekend before conference play, Indiana will battle Xavier and Eastern Kentucky at Xavier and play at Cincinnati.
After 11 matches on the road to start the season, Indiana will open Big Ten play at home with Northwestern (Sept. 21) and Illinois (Sept. 22).
The Hoosiers have home and away in Big Ten play with 2017 National Champion Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Ohio State, Minnesota, Michigan and Rutgers.
The final week of the regular season Indiana will host Purdue (Nov. 21) and travel to Northwestern (Nov. 23).
All home matches will be held in Bloomington.
