Indiana Women’s Basketball To Play In Puerto Rico Classic

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sport Tours International has released the field for the Puerto Rico Classic featuring Indiana Women's Basketball that will take place Dec. 19-21, 2018.
The Hoosiers will face Loyola Marymount on Dec. 19, Grambling State on Dec. 20 and South Dakota on Dec. 21. IU faces a Grambling State team that won the SWAC last season and advance to the NCAA Tournament while the South Dakota Coyotes advanced to the WNIT Quarterfinals on its way to winning the Summit League regular season. Loyola Marymount won 19 games in 2017-18, the most for the program in 11 seasons.

Previously announced, IU will host Big Ten opponents Maryland, Minnesota, Iowa and Penn State while traveling to Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin. The Hoosiers will face Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Rutgers and Purdue in home-and-home games next season.
