Caitlin Bernard Adventures in Romania

This summer junior Caitlin Bernard spent a month playing in tournament and sightseeing in Romania. She wrote about the experience.
This summer I got to travel to Romania and play professional tournaments. I've played some in the US but this was my first time playing them abroad.
I was there for about a month and got to experience so many new people and a whole new country. This trip helped my tennis game grow and I got to compete and train with people from all over the world.
Everyone I met there inspired me to keep competing at this level and it only makes me want to reach excellence even more.
I met new friends and got to share my experience with them. I played three different tournaments, in three different places in Romania.
The last city was the capital Bucharest and I got to do some site seeing and see all the beautiful buildings and landmarks. Everyone I met there inspired me to keep competing at this level and it only makes me want to reach excellence even more. This trip really inspired me to keep pushing myself even more.
