#IUBASE Walk-On Tryouts Scheduled for Aug. 24

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Walk-On tryouts for the Indiana University Baseball Team have been scheduled for Friday August 24^th at 4:15pm at Bart Kaufman Field. Please follow the following steps to ensure you are eligible to participate in tryouts. This will be the only day for walk-on tryouts.

Download, print, and complete the student-athlete portion of the attached Tryout Clearance Packet (first half of page 1).
To complete Step 1: Head Coach Approval, please stop by the baseball offices at Bart Kaufman Field to get Coach Mercer's signature. You can email Director of Baseball Operations Denton Sagerman (dsagerma@iu.edu) to set up a good time to get this or walk-in anytime.
To complete Step 2: Indiana Sports Medicine Approval, you will need physical proof of a physical and Sickle Cell Test on file within the past 6 months. You can get these at the IU Health Center on campus if needed. You will need to bring these to Joel Langemaat located in Memorial Stadium South Endzone Athletic Training Room for approval. Joel can be reached at (jvlangem@indiana.edu) or 317-979-0607 if you cannot find him in the training room.
Complete the Indiana University Drug Test Consent Form located on the second page of the Tryout Clearance Packet.
To complete Step 3: Office of Compliance Services' Approval, please scan and send the entire Tryout Clearance packet (including the Indiana University Drug Test Consent Form), with all appropriate signatures, to Shane Wilkinson (shawilki@indiana.edu) be WEDNESDAY AUGUST 22nd at 5pm.
You will receive a confirmation email that you are cleared to participate in the tryout, YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TRYOUT UNLESS YOU RECEIVE THIS CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
