Harper Advances To Stage II of LPGA Q-School

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana senior Erin Harper finished Stage I of the LPGA Q-School Qualifying Tournament in a tie for 94th, and will move on to Stage II that will take place in October.

Stage II will be played at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla., from Oct. 13-18. Approximately 15-25 players (and ties) will advance to the Q-Series that takes place in late October and early November.

In Stage I, Harper opened with a 1-under par 71 and followed that with a 73 in round two to sit at even par through 36 holes. After an even par 72 in round three, she posted a 78 in the final round for a total score of 294 (+6).

Harper, a Dublin, Ohio native, finished her junior season at the NCAA Championships after posting a season-best score of 68 at the Madison (Wis.) regional. Her 2017-18 scoring average of 74.06 was second-best on the team and fifth-best in program history. For her career, she has played 82 rounds and has a scoring average of 74.21.
