Ochsenreiter Tied For Tenth Through 36 Holes at Windon Memorial

The Indiana men's golf team was tied for third place out of 16 teams after Sunday's first round, but a difficult second round score of 301 dropped the Hoosiers to a tie for 11th heading into Monday's final round.

• Junior Brock Ochsenreiter once again leads the way for Indiana through 36 holes, carding rounds of 70 and 73 to sit at 1-under par (143) and a tie for 10th. In round one, Ochsenreiter recorded four birdies and two bogeys on his way to a round of 2-under par. He was on his way to another good round in the afternoon, but a pair of bogeys and a double bogey derailed his round late and left him with a 73.

• In his first round, sophomore Ethan Shepherd birdied three of his last four holes to post a score of 2-under par (70). In his second round, he was just a little bit off his game on the back nine, carding six bogeys, and went on to post a 77. He is tied for 36th with a score 147 (+3).

• Redshirt senior Jake Brown logged two rounds of 75 on Sunday, but they were drastically different rounds. In round one, he posted three birdies and six bogeys and the in round two, he had four birdies and five bogeys along with a double bogey. He is tied for 51st with a score of 150.

• Also with a score of 150 through 36 holes is junior Evan Gaesser after he posted scores of 72 and 76. He totaled four birdies, eight bogeys and one double bogey over the two rounds.

• Freshman Mitch Davis is tied for 72nd with a score of 153 after rounds of 76 and 77.

• Freshman Harry Reynolds, competing only as an individual, is tied for 51st with a score of 151 (+7). After opening with a 79 in round one, he rebounded to post Even par 72 in round two.
