Two New Personal Records Set on Day One of Gladstein Invite

Bloomington, Ind.—Indiana Track & Field concluded day one of the Gladstein Invite on Friday night.
Two Hoosiers saw personal records on day one. Princess Brinkley took second in the weight throw with a distance of 20.50m (67' 3.25"). Hope Purcell saw her PR in the 60m hurdles where she clocked a time of 8.74.
Daniel Michalski raced to a first-place finish in the 3000m with a national leading time of 8:06.21. Dustin Horter ran unattached to take second in a time of 8:14.04. Bryce Millar (8:15.80) and Reese Jordan (8:18.73) also competed in the 3000m as they placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
Maggie Allen ran her first 3,000m of this indoor season where she took first place after crossing the finish line in a time 9:24.08. Bailey Hertenstein finished second in a time of 9:33.76.
Katherine Receveur made her indoor season debut on Friday night in the mile. The redshirt senior took first place after crossing the finish line in a time of 4:50.55. Hannah Stoffel remained strong in the event by placing second overall with a time of 4:51.85. Grace Walther rounded out the top five, she clocked a time of 4:56.62.
In the men's 60m hurdle finals, Christian Goines was the lone Hoosier to compete in the event as he took home second place after clocking a time of 8.21.
Natalie Price continued to be strong this indoor season as she placed first in the 400m with a time of 54.04.
In the men's weight throw, Nick Lane led the field with a distance of 19.18m (62' 11.25"). On the women's side, Nycia Ford and Alexis Hill went back-to-back to finish third and fourth. Ford notched a distance of 20.09m (65' 11") while Hill saw a distance of 19.15m (62' 10").
Anna Watson competed in the pole vault where she notched second place in a height of 4.00m (13' 1.5").
On the men's side, Adam Coulon cleared a height of 5.30m (17' 4.5"), earning him the top spot in the event. Brock Mammoser also had a top three finish after clearing a height of 4.75m (15' 7").
