Trayce Jackson-Davis Named a McDonald's All-American

CHICAGO, Ill. - IU signee Trayce Jackson-Davis, who plays at Center Grove High School, will be the 22nd Hoosier recruit to play in the McDonald's All-American game. He is the second recruit of Archie Miller's tenure to earn the honor joining current Hoosier Romeo Langford who played in last year's game.
The 6-9 Davis is ranked #15 in the country by 247 Sports Composite, 17th by ESPN and #18 in the nation by Rivals.com. He also is #14 in USA Today's Chosen 25 for the 2019 class. He will be a four-year letterwinner for the Trojans, who are coached by Zach Hahn, and has led them to back-to-back sectional titles. He averaged 22.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.7 blocked shots and 2.8 assists per game as a junior. He was a member of the core team of Indiana Junior All-Stars and was part of the Supreme 15 All-State underclass team as chosen by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. He also helped Team USA win the 2018 FIBA Americas Men's U18 Championship gold medal, last June. During the tournament, he made 19 of his 22 field goal attempts (86.0%). During the AAU season last summer, he averaged 19.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for Spiece Indy Heat and coach Jason Delaney. His team played in the Nike EYBL circuit.
Since 1977, there have been 31 McDonald's All-Americans that have made their way to Assembly Hall to play for the Hoosiers.
