Indiana Cross Country Concludes Stint at Pre-National Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana men's and women's cross country wrapped up competition at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational. The women's team placed 21^st while the men's squad finished in 26^th.

Jake Gebhardt led the Hoosiers with an 84^th place finish with a time of 24:41.6. Cooper Williams followed Gebhardt in 91^st and clocked a time of 24:45.8. Reese Jordan crossed in a time of 25:09.9 to place 138^th. Aaron Bennett and Ben Miller finished back to back in 156^th and 157^th. Bennett notched a time of 25:22.3 while Miller nabbed a time of 25:23.1. Hunter Moore picked up 164^th place in a time of 25:28.9. Keelan Grant rounded out the field of Hoosiers in 221^st and clocked a time of 26:08.3.

Abi Little led Indiana on the women's side for the second meet of the season. She crossed in a time 21:50.6 to place 28^th. Claire Hamilton ran her first meet of the season and finished in 63^rd with a time of 22:38.4. Maddie Dalton crossed the finish line 98^th in a time of 23:09.6. Posting a time of 23:22.9, Ana Barrott placed 112^th. Mallory Mulzer picked up 117^th place and clocked a time of 23:28.3. Kelley Mindak closed out the field of Hoosiers with a time of 24:33.9 to finish in 153^rd.

Indiana returns to action on Nov. 3 when they compete at Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio. The men's race is begin at 10:45a with the women's race to follow.
